I did like the small mention of Dinah Drake as Laurel's mother. Hope that she shows up and puts her on the Canary track. Also the mention of Laurel in fishnets. That seems that it could all come to fruition end of season 2. I kinda sorta am liking the mother more with her as a soldier in Captain Jack's organization. I also like that Ollie's stepfather isn't a bad guy and hope he isn't away for long. As to your complaint about the relationship drama in your superhero show, that is what the phrase "CW-ing it" means. All he would have had to say on the polygraph mess is that he didn't remember the field trip to the prison. Simple fix, but CW doesn't let them go the easy route. Next week is confirmed as a Royal Flush Gang episode. And I think it's a great idea, a "ground level" villain as opposed to the big name ones (e.g. Deathstroke), but one with a comic basis.
